Playlist #2 – U.K. Rap & Grime

Somehow, like in 2006 or so, I heard a song by The Streets on XM Radio and from there, I just kept digging. It led to Professor Green, Sway, Plan B, Kano and others. Something about the beats, the vocal meters, was more melodic than what I found coming out of the states. Additionally, the lyrics were, sometimes, far more relatable to my own experiences and mentalities.
